The student government consists of elected and appointed student representatives who support the staff. There are three (3) major groups within the government - The Prefects’ Council, The Students’ Council and the Form Monitors.

THE PREFECTS’ COUNCIL:

The Prefects’ Council consists of the Head Boy, two Deputy Head Boys, Prefects and Sub-Prefects. These are appointed student leaders who are responsible for assisting the staff in maintaining discipline among their peers.

STUDENTS’ COUNCIL:

The Students’ Council consists of two elected students from each class. These students, in turn, select a President and a supporting committee from among themselves. The President is responsible for leading the body in advocating for the rights of the students and also sits on the Board of Management as the voice of the Student Body. Student Councilors also help to instill order and discipline in students.

FORM MONITORS:

The Form Monitors are elected and operate at the class level. They serve as assistants to the Form Teacher in ensuring that students adhere to acceptable standards of conduct in and around the classroom.
